Pope Leo Shares Traditional Catholic Positions On Gay Marriage, Abortion

Pope Leo XIV Reaffirms Traditional Catholic Values

Pope Leo XIV, the first American pope, reaffirmed Catholic teachings on marriage and abortion during a meeting with Vatican diplomats, stressing that family is founded on a union between a man and a woman and that unborn children have inherent dignity.

He also called for global peace, interfaith dialogue, and support for vulnerable groups. His remarks align with traditional Catholic views and contrast with progressive stances on abortion and same-sex marriage.

His brother, Louis Prevost, drew attention for defending a controversial social media post about Rep. Nancy Pelosi, while expressing support for the MAGA movement.
