Pence On Running For President Again: ‘Don’t See That In My Future’

Former Vice President Mike Pence said he does not see another presidential run in his future.

In a May 2025 interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, Pence, 65, said he plans to stay involved in shaping conservative policy but is unlikely to seek the presidency again.

He reflected positively on his time in the Trump administration and expressed pride in their accomplishments, including economic growth and judicial appointments. Pence emphasized his commitment to conservative values and said he hopes future GOP leaders embrace a broad, mainstream agenda.

He declined to name a preferred successor, praising the Republican Party’s deep bench of potential candidates.
