FBI Launches Task Force Targeting Anti-Tesla ‘Domestic Terrorism’

The FBI has launched a task force targeting a rise in violent and vandalism-related incidents against Tesla.

Attacks have included arson, gunfire, and damage to Tesla vehicles, charging stations, and showrooms.

The task force, formed in partnership with the ATF, is investigating the incidents as potential acts of domestic terrorism. FBI Director Kash Patel stated those responsible will be pursued and prosecuted.

Elon Musk condemned the violence, calling it unjustified. Federal charges have already been filed in some cases. The Justice Department emphasized the seriousness of the threats.

Officials have also warned against rhetoric that may incite further violence, following political controversy surrounding recent remarks about Musk.
