Trump Implementing Self-Deportation Plan For Illegal Migrants

President Donald Trump is launching “Project Homecoming,” a voluntary self-deportation program for undocumented immigrants.

It offers free flights and a \$1,000 cash incentive to leave the U.S.

The administration claims this plan is safer for law enforcement and more cost-effective than traditional deportation, saving taxpayers billions. Migrants can book flights using a new DHS app and receive assistance at airports.

Trump warned of strict penalties for those who refuse to leave. A public awareness campaign and a surge in enforcement are planned. Officials believe the initiative will reduce illegal immigration and ease the fiscal burden on the country.
