Pence Rips Trump For Assessing U.S. Foreign Policy During Saudi Trip

Former Vice President Mike Pence continues to try to stay relevant within the GOP by criticizing Donald Trump, but this strategy appears unlikely to win over MAGA supporters.

On NBC’s Meet the Press, Pence condemned Trump’s recent comments in Saudi Arabia, where Trump criticized U.S. military interventions in the Middle East. Pence called it a “disservice” to veterans.

Despite praising the trip overall, he disapproved of Trump’s remarks being made on foreign soil. Pence said he will support Trump’s administration when aligned on policy but stressed his commitment to principle.

His PAC recently opposed RFK Jr.’s HHS nomination, citing pro-life concerns.
