Yale professor Dr. Howie Forman raised concerns about former President Joe Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis, calling it “inconceivable” that such an advanced case, with a Gleason score of 9 and bone metastasis, wasn’t detected earlier.
He questioned whether Biden had received regular PSA screenings, given his high-profile status and access to healthcare. While acknowledging guidelines suggest ending PSA tests at age 70, Forman found the timing odd.
Biden’s office confirmed the diagnosis and said he’s reviewing treatment options. Leaders across the political spectrum, including Trump, Harris, Obama, and Pelosi, expressed support and wished him a swift recovery.
