Trump Leaves Capitol Meeting, Responds to Rumor: ‘Wait, Who Told You That?’

President Donald Trump addressed House Republicans, urging them to unite behind his “One Big, Beautiful Bill” and support Speaker Mike Johnson’s domestic agenda.

 

 

 

Trump responded to rumors about his tone in the meeting, stating, “Anybody that told you that is a liar” and emphasized that the party remains unified.

He highlighted the success of recent elections and the economy, stressing the importance of passing his legislation, which includes the largest tax cut in American history and significant regulation cuts.

Trump also warned Republicans not to oppose key provisions like Medicaid and criticized Rep. Thomas Massie for his objections.
