Trump Blames Biden Staff for Border Policy, Calls It ‘Treason’
Former President Donald Trump claimed Tuesday that President Biden wasn’t personally responsible for the U.S.’s border policies, instead blaming his staff, who he said “knew he was cognitively impaired.” Trump wrote on Truth Social that Biden “never talked about open borders” and accused aides of seizing control, calling their actions “treason.”
Trump also referenced a new book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, which details Biden’s alleged mental and physical decline. It reports aides once considered putting Biden in a wheelchair and claims he didn’t recognize George Clooney at a fundraiser.
Shortly before the book’s release, Biden’s team revealed he had been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. Critics, including Trump, questioned how the condition went undetected, noting Biden’s last PSA test was in 2014.
