President Trump criticized Judge Brian Murphy for blocking the deportation of eight illegal immigrants convicted of violent crimes, including murder and child rape.
Murphy, a Biden appointee, halted the flight to South Sudan, ruling the individuals hadn’t been given a chance to object due to safety concerns.
Trump called the judge “out of control” and demanded Supreme Court intervention. ICE confirmed some of the deportation orders date back over two decades.
The judge also ordered legal access and weekly status updates. The case has sparked sharp debate over immigration enforcement, due process, and judicial overreach in national security matters.
