Republicans have regained a clear lead over Democrats on the economy (R+8) and inflation (R+6), the two top voter concerns, according to a new Napolitan News Survey.
This reverses last month’s gains by Democrats, who had nearly pulled even. The rebound is linked to voter approval of Trump’s trade deal with China and improving economic optimism.
Inflation (29%) and the economy (25%) top the list of voter concerns, followed by immigration and health care (both at 12%). Republicans lead on immigration (R+16), while Democrats lead on health care (D+12).
Trump also criticized a Biden-appointed judge for blocking deportations of violent illegal immigrants, calling it judicial overreach that endangers national security.
