The FBI is investigating potential public corruption linked to three major cases: the D.C. pipe-bombing, cocaine found at President Biden’s White House, and the leak of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced. Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel have reopened or increased resources for these probes.
The pipe bombs were planted near political headquarters before the January 2021 Capitol attack but didn’t detonate. Cocaine was found in the West Wing in 2023 near the Oval Office; the Secret Service found no suspect.
The Dobbs leak, confirmed in 2022, remains unsolved despite investigations. Bongino urges public tips to aid progress.
