DHS’s Noem Tells ACLU To ‘Suck It’ After Failed Attempt To Halt Deportations

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem responded bluntly to the ACLU after the group withdrew a lawsuit aimed at stopping deportations of ten immigrants, tweeting “Suck it.”

The lawsuit sought to prevent transferring detainees to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Seven of the individuals were already deported, and the remaining three are unlikely to be sent there.

DHS accused the ACLU of prioritizing dangerous illegal aliens over American safety, calling the lawsuit “meritless” and “frivolous.”

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin criticized the ACLU for defending foreign criminals instead of protecting U.S. citizens.
