FBI’s Bongino Drops Big Update On Jan. 6 Pipe Bomb Case

FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced the bureau is “closing in” on suspects tied to the January 6, 2021, pipe bombs planted near the RNC and DNC headquarters.

Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and outspoken critic of past investigations, said a dedicated team has been working on the case. Surveillance footage shows an unidentified individual placing the devices, which were later confirmed as viable explosives.

Over 600 tips have been received, and the FBI still offers a \$500,000 reward.

Bongino also revealed the discovery of Comey-era evidence and said efforts are underway to declassify materials that could help resolve the case.
