CNN’s Enten: Most Americans Agree With Trump About ‘Bias’ In Colleges, Universities

CNN’s Harry Enten reported a sharp decline in public confidence in higher education over the past decade. Most Americans now share President Trump’s concerns about the system, especially regarding perceived liberal bias.

Confidence in colleges dropped from 57% in 2015 to 36% last year, with 68% saying higher education is on the wrong track.

Enten noted 45% of Americans—and 67% of Republicans—believe colleges are too politically left-leaning. He emphasized that while opinions on Trump’s tactics vary, many agree there’s a serious problem with bias in universities.
