John A. Sarcone III, recently appointed interim U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York by President Trump, previously posted inflammatory comments on social media, calling Joe Biden a “traitor” and suggesting Barack Obama be deported.
Though lacking prosecutorial experience, Sarcone defended his qualifications, citing sound judgment and life experience.
He pledged to prioritize border security, public corruption, and student rights. The FBI also announced the arrest of a top MS-13 leader in Virginia, with officials including Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel overseeing the operation.
They credited Trump’s administration for increasing arrests and enhancing national security.
