Trump Approval Soars Amid Israel-Iran Conflict As President Ponders Move

President Donald Trump’s approval rating has risen to 53% among registered voters, according to the latest Napolitan News Survey, up from 51% two weeks earlier. His disapproval rating remains steady at 46%, with 32% of respondents strongly approving of his leadership, while 37% strongly disapprove, and just 1% remain undecided. The survey also revealed that the economy (24%) and immigration (23%) are the top concerns for voters, while foreign policy and war rank lower at 9%. This data sets the backdrop as Trump considers a major decision on whether to launch a military strike against Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility—a heavily fortified site embedded inside a mountain. Though Israel has urged the U.S. to act, Trump has stated he will decide within two weeks.

In response to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei’s vow not to abandon the nuclear program, Trump simply said, “Good luck.” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the president has left the door open for possible negotiations, while also considering the use of bunker-buster bombs. Trump revealed that Iran recently expressed interest in direct talks, even proposing to send a delegation to the White House. However, he criticized Iranian leaders for rejecting an earlier U.S. proposal, remarking, “Now they wish they did it.” Despite mounting regional tensions, Trump reiterated U.S. military superiority and remained non-committal, stating, “I haven’t made a decision.”
