Gene Hackman’s late wife Betsy’s final haunting images revealed

The news of Gene Hackman’s death, alongside his wife Betsy Arakawa, shocked the world.

According to a timeline from USA Today, Arakawa was last seen on February 11 in a CVS Pharmacy surveillance video, where she appeared wearing a mask due to concerns over Hantavirus. She passed away the same day, with authorities later confirming her death was caused by Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome.

On February 26, Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 65, were found dead at their home, along with their dog. Hackman’s death was attributed to hypertensive, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, with Alzheimer’s contributing. His pacemaker showed cardiac activity until February 18, suggesting he passed shortly after his wife. This tragic event left many grieving the loss of a Hollywood legend and his devoted wife.
