A 19-Year-Old Football Player Drowns In His Own Stomach Acid While Speaking To His Mother On The Phone

Luca Manolache, a 19-year-old footballer for Metaloglobus București, tragically passed away after battling severe health issues.

Experiencing extreme fatigue, dizziness, and blood in his stool, his condition worsened, leading to a collapse on February 28.

In a heartbreaking call to his mother, he asked, “Do you think I’m dying?” Despite emergency efforts, Luca succumbed to complications from severe internal bleeding, ultimately drowning in his own stomach acid. His club paid tribute, remembering his passion and dedication. His passing highlights the importance of monitoring athletes’ health.

Though gone too soon, Luca’s legacy as a talented and beloved teammate will endure. Rest in peace, Luca—you will never be forgotten.
