Obama-Era Officials Silent Amid Explosive Trump-Russia Probe Allegations
Former Obama administration officials are staying silent following the release of newly declassified documents alleging they “manufactured” intelligence to initiate the Trump-Russia investigation. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released the documents Friday, claiming they provide “overwhelming evidence” that top officials in the Obama White House politicized intelligence after Donald Trump’s 2016 victory.
Gabbard said the records reveal a deliberate attempt by then-President Obama and key officials—including James Clapper, John Brennan, Susan Rice, Loretta Lynch, John Kerry, and Andrew McCabe—to construct a false narrative of Russian interference in the election, despite intelligence community findings to the contrary.
“These documents show a treasonous conspiracy,” Gabbard told Fox News Digital. “Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people and conduct a years-long coup.” She submitted a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, although no specific individuals were named. DOJ officials have yet to issue a response.
Gabbard stressed that the issue transcends party politics. “This is not a partisan issue,” she said. “This abuse of power threatens the foundation of our democratic republic.” She called for all responsible parties to be prosecuted to restore public faith in American institutions.
Adding to the controversy, General Michael Flynn called for a federal raid on Barack Obama’s D.C. home, citing the precedent set by the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago search. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) also demanded criminal charges, claiming those responsible violated federal law by pushing false intelligence.
