Gutfeld Blasts Tarlov Over Epstein Outrage: ‘You Say The Same F-ing Thing’

During a heated exchange on Fox News’ The Five, co-host Greg Gutfeld sharply criticized fellow panelist Jessica Tarlov for suggesting that former President Donald Trump is avoiding transparency around Jeffrey Epstein’s connections by distracting the public with outdated political controversies. Tarlov claimed that Trump’s emphasis on declassifying documents related to the Obama administration and the Trump-Russia investigation was an intentional tactic to divert attention from the Epstein issue, implying Trump may have personal stakes in keeping certain information hidden.

Gutfeld quickly fired back, accusing Tarlov of repeating Democratic talking points and minimizing the damage caused by the Trump-Russia narrative. He argued that the intelligence community initially found no evidence that Russia’s actions impacted Trump’s 2016 election win. According to Gutfeld, the Obama administration then pushed for a new narrative, using figures like John Brennan to create a storyline of collusion that, he claimed, was never backed by hard evidence.

Tarlov pushed back against Gutfeld’s framing, stating that the findings were not only credible but also supported by a bipartisan report led by Republican Senator Marco Rubio. She noted that prominent Republicans acknowledged Russia’s intent to interfere in the election and help Trump. Tarlov also criticized Trump’s supporters for continuing to revive old scandals and conspiracies while ignoring newer, pressing concerns.

Gutfeld dismissed her criticisms, asserting that conservatives have been more proactive than Democrats in pursuing the Epstein story from the beginning. He argued that the left only began to care about Epstein when they saw potential political gain, accusing them of hypocritical outrage based on convenience.

The exchange reflected broader ideological rifts on both the Epstein case and the lasting impact of the Russia investigation. Both hosts accused the other side of political manipulation, with Gutfeld emphasizing conservative multitasking and Tarlov questioning the integrity of Trump’s motives.
